Responsibilities

Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with brand guidelines and enhance product visibility. Create visually appealing product displays using Adobe Illustrator and other design tools. Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement and ensure compliance with merchandising standards. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer preferences and market trends. Supervise and train staff on merchandising techniques and best practices. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and sales performance. Provide administrative support by preparing reports on merchandising activities and outcomes. Utilise strong leadership skills to motivate team members and foster a positive working environment.

Experience

Proven experience in merchandising or a related field is highly desirable. Proficiency in Adobe software, particularly Adobe Illustrator, is essential for creating effective visual displays. Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent organisational abilities to maintain orderliness in both physical displays and administrative tasks. Multilingual capabilities are an advantage, enabling effective communication with diverse customer bases. Previous experience in supervising teams is beneficial for fostering collaboration and achieving merchandising goals.
