An exciting position has become available on our team, for an experienced, multi-skilled maintenance engineer.

We are The Maintenance Team, a multi-skilled property services company who have been established for over a decade across the Midlands, Herts and Greater London.

Example of day to day tasks required for this job:



Tailoring and hanging fire doors General plumbing works (eg: taps, traps, sink and shower replacements) Installation or repairs of kitchen units/worktops and associated appliances Building timber framework and structures Fitting of windows and doors Repairs and replacement of hardware components General plumbing works (eg: taps, traps, sink and shower replacements) Tiling Plastering and decoration works (including application of water and oil based primers and paint products) Brickwork and render repairs Internal and external drainage installations/repairs Replacing window and door glazing Repairs and installation of flooring Bathroom refurbishments Mould and damp works Dry lining and partition walls General property repairs Receiving jobs to your company tablet PDA, providing job completion reports and photographs of completed works Travelling to a variety of sites to survey and/or complete works Diagnostic and investigation related to symptom based issues Ability to scope works required and provide a detailed specification of materials and labour time required

Multi-task abilities



We are particularly looking for candidates who have an ability to turn their hand to a broad range of project based skill sets, examples are:

Tiling Plastering Bathroom installation projects External works including fencing, pointing of masonry, installation of rainwater products Flooring works inc lino and LVT Wall and floor insulation installation Kitchen upgrades

Candidates applying for the role must own their own set of general and battery operated tools, on a self maintained basis.

We are only accepting applications from experienced candidates, who have held at least 2 years of consistent full-time employed PAYE positions, within companies that are either the same, or similar to our own, salaries are negotiable based on experience and competence.
