We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of taking products into retail, particularly supplements, FMCG goods, or challenger drink brands. As we do not currently have retail accounts, the first responsibility of this role will be to introduce our products into retail stores, secure listings, grow sales, and implement any necessary systems for managing these accounts.
Responsibilities:
Secure retail listings and build relationships with key retail accounts from scratch.
Develop and implement strategic plans to grow sales and increase product visibility in retail.
Identify and implement systems for tracking account activity, sales, and inventory.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth retail operations and timely delivery.
Analyse market trends and customer feedback to optimise retail strategy.
Monitor and adapt strategies to ensure consistent growth in retail sales.
Mentor junior team members as retail operations expand.
Qualifications:
Proven experience launching products into retail, preferably within the FMCG, drink, or supplement sectors.
Strong relationships with retail buyers and distributors.
Experience in implementing systems for managing retail accounts and sales performance.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).
Proactive and organised with a solutions-focused approach.
