Job Description

Office Network Management:

• Plan and manage network-related projects across the company, including the rollout of new office networks worldwide
• Design, implement, and install network solutions, ensuring they meet staff needs
• Continue to standardise wired and wireless networking across offices using Meraki equipment
• Procure and purchase hardware and software licences for multiple location

Data Centre Networking:

• Work with the Data Centre and Networks (DCN) team to maintain and enhance servers, switching, routing hardware, and software primarily using Cisco equipment
• Collaborate on the data centre stack up to Kubernetes, including working with the data infrastructure team
• Configure and troubleshoot various aspects of the network, including Kubernetes CNI, stateful firewalls, routing, switching, and cabling issues
• Be an active participant in the upcoming data centre consolidations especially in EMEA
• Work with complex network and storage environments including SAN, clustering, load balancing, multi-site VPNs, network IDS, and firewalls

Qualifications and experienc:

• 5+ years managing office networks and designing through to implementation of wireless-first environment
• 5+ years managing and configuring firewalls and router
• 5+ years working with VPNs and data center storage solutions
• 3+ years working with Cisco Meraki network equipment
• People-pleasing personality with a strong service orientation
• Current Cisco CCNP certification

Desirable Skills:

• SD-WAN and/or SASE experience.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and multi-region Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
• Experience with Kubernetes in AWS
• Expertise in managing Apple and Windows devices
• Hands-on scripting and system integration skills
• Experience with Python to utilize the Merakis API
• Experience with Linux, Apple, and Microsoft operating systems
• Knowledge of ITIL or similar methodologies
• Understanding of personal data regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take initiative & manage multiple detailed tasks in an ever-changing environment
• Organizational, and project management abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
