Senior Network Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Warwickshire - \xc2\xa365,000 + Bonus
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our client based in Warwickshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and resolving incidents for the LANs and WANs and supporting systems and environments across multiple sites as well as ensuring network security is maintained.
The Senior Network Engineer will be required to:
- Manage the network hardware, software, and equipment.
- Monitor and analyse the performance and speed of the network, ensuring it is meeting the needs of the users.
- Troubleshoot any problems with hardware, software, and systems, replace equipment and components when necessary, and assist with disaster recovery operations. Fixing faults and providing technical support for people using the network.
- Assist in structuring the network architecture with research and recommend policies and strategies for the network infrastructure.
- Develop and distribute networking recommended practices according to vendors.
- Management of a Network operations team in small to medium enterprise
- Routing and Switching troubleshooting (OSPF, VLANs, L2/L3)
- Wireless Networking (LAN) - ideally exposure to Cisco Meraki and Juniper Mist.
- Firewall Management \xe2\x80\x93 Ideally exposure to Palo Alto
- Vendor Management i.e. WAN provider
