We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Senior Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to 32 residents in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise junior staff while ensuring that all care plans/ moving and handling needs are followed meticulously. Whether its listening to our residents stories, offering residents reassurance, maintaining dignity or independence. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the residents in our care.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, food & fluids, mobility support, toileting needs and repositioning needs.
Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and changes in their condition.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment is maintained.
Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development opportunities.
Skills
Proven experience in senior care or within a care home environment is essential.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents, families, colleagues and out of hours services if needed throughout the night.
Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation efficiently.
Be familiar with the person centred software care planning.

Working Hours:
