Summary
We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Glen Devon In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care while supporting the efficient operation of our care homes.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of personalised care plans for residents.
Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
Lead and supervise junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs.
Maintain accurate records of resident care and report any changes in health status.
Encourage social engagement and participation in activities among residents.
Requirements
Previous experience in a senior care role or similar position is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of care home regulations and best practices in elderly care is preferred.
Ability to develop and manage individual care plans effectively.
