Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to elderly residents in our care home setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individual care plans for residents
- Drive the delivery of exceptional care services in accordance with established protocols
- Provide leadership and guidance to care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained
- Utilise IT systems effectively to record and update resident information
- Oversee daily operations within the care home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Supervise and support junior care staff in their roles
Skills:
- Proven experience in senior care or a similar role within a care home setting
- Ability to create and implement effective care plans tailored to individual resident needs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with residents and their families
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team of care staff
- Proficient in IT systems used for recording resident information
