As a Senior Night Care Worker with CrossReach, you will play a key role in supporting older people to live with dignity, comfort and independence through the night. This is a practical and rewarding role where your leadership, care and consistency make a real difference.

What your role will involve

Providing personal care and supporting night-time routines with dignity and respect Acting as a key worker and contributing to individual care plans Supporting wellbeing and responding appropriately to health or care needs during the night Providing guidance and support to night care staff Working closely with families, colleagues and health professionals Maintaining accurate records and contributing to handovers and team discussions

About you

You are caring, reliable and confident in a senior care role, with a genuine respect for older people. You hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, are registered with the SSSC and a member of the PVG Scheme. You are comfortable using basic IT systems and are committed to working within CrossReach's Christian ethos and values.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.


This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
