As a Senior Care Worker with CrossReach, you will support older people to live with dignity, comfort and independence. This is a practical and rewarding role where your care, consistency and compassion genuinely matter, alongside providing leadership and guidance to colleagues on shift.

What your role will involve

Supporting personal care and daily routines with dignity and respect Acting as a key worker and contributing to individual care plans Providing leadership on shift and supporting care staff in their practice Promoting wellbeing through social, physical and meaningful activities Working closely with families, colleagues and health professionals Maintaining accurate records and contributing to team discussions Supporting medication processes in line with procedures

About you

You are caring, patient and reliable, with a genuine respect for older people and experience in a care setting. You hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and are confident supporting others to deliver high-quality care. You are comfortable using basic IT systems and are registered, or willing to register, with the SSSC and join the PVG Scheme as part of the appointment process. As this role involves upholding the Christian ethos of CrossReach, applicants must have a Christian faith.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.


This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
