We are looking for Senior Care Worker to lead our night shift for our residential home in Pentraeth.

About the Role:
As the Senior Care Worker, you will lead the team in providing person-centred care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met with respect and compassion. This includes:
Ensuring correct staffing
Allocation of duties
Administration of medication in the night and morning
Assisting with personal care and ensuring that the residents are supported correctly
Light cleaning duties of lounges and communal areas
Adhering to policies and procedures and required regulations
Maintaining care records
Liaising with other Senior staff to ensure smooth handover of all information.
Supervisions of care staff
Health and safety responsibilities

Confident in supervising care and other staff
Commitment to ensuring compliance with internal and external processes
Confident working within a residential care home environment
Solution-focused with a calm, professional approach to challenges
Genuinely passionate about delivering person-centred care

Qualifications
Ideally previous experience in a senior role, however this role may be suitable for a strong candidate who is ready to take the next step in their care career
Knowledge of care plans and home care practices
Strong communication skills in English/Welsh
Must register with Social Care Wales
Hold NVQ 3 or willing to work towards
