Simpson Judge are pleased to be working with a leading, founder-led beauty and lifestyle brand who are looking to recruit a passionate and hardworking NPD professional with thorough experience managing a CPA!

You will play a crucial role in driving the success of the brand by overseeing the development and launch of new products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, research and development, design, and supply chain, to deliver exceptional products that meet market demands, exceed customer expectations and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the product development process, from concept ideation to product launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the beauty and lifestyle industry, providing insights for innovative product development.
• Collaborate with the research and development team to formulate product concepts and formulas that align with brand vision, market trends, and customer needs.
• Develop comprehensive project briefs, including product specifications, target audience, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
• Drive effective cross-functional collaboration, working closely with design, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of product development plans.
• Manage product development timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and effective project tracking.
• Manage the CPA and have full oversight of it.
• Conduct regular market and competitor analysis, monitoring industry trends and consumer preferences to identify potential product enhancements or extensions.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• True passion for the beauty and fragrance industry.
• Strong knowledge of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape within the beauty and lifestyle industry.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Passion for beauty and lifestyle products, with a keen eye for quality and innovation.
