We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, innovative and compassionate nursing leader to become the Senior Nurse of our Children's Community Nursing Service. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise of modernising services with the engagement of teams and service users to deliver the highest quality care to meet the population need across ABUHB, including:
Acute or short term health needs, 'Care Closer To Home' and community clinical & clinic nursing teams
Long term conditions which are met through a variety of Specialist Nursing teams provision, including Enteral Feeding & Gastroenterology, and Palliative Care
Support for children with disabilities including Children's Continuing Care and Special School Nursing Teams
Children with Life limiting conditions including those who are at end of life.
The Senior Nurse is a visible, authoritative and professional clinical leader with responsibility for the direction of nursing, implementation of the corporate nursing agenda, enhancement/modernisation of clinical practice and development of clinical staff to optimise the patient and family experience of care.
The Senior Nurse has a day to day professional and operational responsibility for a defined area/speciality, supporting the Divisional Nurses and Service Manager to assure high quality, effective and efficient patient services.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

As the Senior Nurse for Children's Community Nursing you will be joining the Family and Therapies Division. Services include Maternity, Neonates, Acute Paediatrics, Community Paediatrics, Children's Community Nursing, Health Visiting, School Nursing, CAMHS services and Therapies services. It is a very welcoming and friendly division, which takes pride in caring for its staff and patients.
