Summary



We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Nursery Manager. Located in the heart of the community, this role is vital in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and education aligned with our company's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities



To support and lead Nursery Managers to ensure high quality care and provision.

To closely monitor and assess the quality of care and education across the nurseries and ensure high standards of are always kept.

To ensure all children are included, achieve and make progress.

Contribute effectively to Operations Management team, positively promoting all nurseries.

To maintain a good level of communication across all personnel and, where relevant, update Operations Director on everyday occurrences within the nurseries.

To closely monitor and assess the quality of provision ensuring that policies and procedures, best practice and standards are maintained.

To keep updated on any changes in legislation and/or new incentives and implement them into the nurseries.

To continually reflect on and improve practice in order to ensure the best possible care and education are offered within all settings

To ensure the smooth running of all the nurseries in the absence of the Operations Director and Operations Manager.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage daily nursery operations to ensure high standards of care and education. Supervise and support nursery staff, fostering a positive team environment. Develop and implement policies that promote best practices in early childhood education. Build strong relationships with parents, children, and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and health & safety standards. Oversee staff training, development, and performance appraisals. Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the nursery.

Qualifications



Proven management experience within a childcare or nursery setting. Strong leadership and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of early childhood education principles. Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff. Valid driving license is preferred. Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Level 3 or above in Childcare or Early Years). Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare. Experience with regulatory compliance in childcare settings.

Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
