The role
------------
We're looking for a Senior Operations Analyst to join our high-performing team - someone with a keen eye for spotting patterns, getting to the root cause of issues, and driving meaningful improvements. In this role, you'll take ownership of the most complex operational issues, working collaboratively across operations, and, when needed, product and engineering, to resolve them swiftly and sustainably.
You'll have previous experience working in an investment platform. You'll be the subject matter expert (SME) for key processes throughout the trading lifecycle, helping the wider team stay confident in our platform's performance and compliance. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-led environment and enjoys a balance of daily delivery and long-term improvement work.
On a typical day, you will be...
----------------------------------
Leading the resolution of complex trading operational issues, from triage through to root cause analysis and remediation
Coordinating cross-functional investigations into incidents, identifying improvements that prevent recurrence.
Working closely with product and engineering to ensure fixes are embedded in our technology where appropriate
Acting as the team's go-to expert for high-risk or intricate processes, supporting colleagues with escalations and training
Working with the wider operations team to develop processes for error correction and monitor profit and loss.
Supporting daily outcomes as needed, including controls testing - contributing to a high-performing team
Championing strong operational controls and CASS, COBS, MIFID compliance, even as we scale.
This role is for you if...
------------------------------
You have a background of working within a Trading Operations team and an understanding of trade flows across funds and exchange traded instruments.
You're a confident problem-solver who enjoys digging into detail and getting to the bottom of issues
You're comfortable working across multiple items, acting as the driving force to resolution and improvement
You thrive on autonomy, take ownership of outcomes, and follow through on what you start.
Youre technically minded. Strong Excel skills are essential. Knowledge of Looker and MS Power Platform is desirable but not essential.
You enjoy coaching others, sharing your knowledge, and lifting the team around you
You're clear and confident in your communication - whether writing an incident report or explaining an issue to a colleague
This role isn't for you if...
---------------------------------
You rely on a lot of top-down direction.
Here, you'll have a lot of freedom and ownership of your role, and you'll be expected to shape your own progression
You're not comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Our speed and scalability are what set us apart; you need to be able to act quickly and think on your feet
You struggle to follow through on ideas.
We value people who do what they say they will. If you care about something, you have the freedom here to make it happen
You don't like change
. You'll get on great here if you relish the ambiguity of rapid growth and are willing to embrace uncertainty
What's in it for you...
