Purpose of Role
To lead and oversee a multi-functional evening operation, acting as the primary escalation point and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all final daily activities across departments. This includes ensuring adherence to schedules, maintaining standards, and effectively managing staff on shift.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with day-shift managers to ensure smooth handover and clear understanding of evening tasks.
Coordinate final responsibilities across Online, Hygiene, and Logistics teams.
Ensure online customer orders are completed and dispatched according to strict outload schedules.
Submit final Finished Goods and Hydration stock counts to the Planning team by end of shift.
Monitor the intake and outload schedules across site to meet planned logistics.
Oversee evening hygiene operations across all relevant areas.
Lead, support, and develop direct-report staff, maintaining a motivated and effective team.
Deliver clear, concise communication to team members both verbally and in writing.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by upholding housekeeping standards.
Provide long-term support for night operations during peak periods.
Plan and conduct performance reviews in partnership with the Operations Manager.
Complete all required administrative tasks and system updates in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage the secure lock-up of buildings as needed.
Address operational queries from other departments during the absence of day-shift management.
Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Handbook.
Undertake additional duties as required in line with business needs.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Proven experience in a senior, supervisory, or managerial role within a fast-paced operational environment
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Advanced English communication skills
High level of computer literacy
Effective problem-solving ability and the capacity to perform well under pressure
Desirable: Knowledge of flowers and plants
