Role Duties:



Handle and expertly manage a diverse portfolio of payroll and Auto-Enrolment pension clients from start to finish on a weekly/fortnightly/4 weekly and monthly basis. Deliver accurate, compliant payroll services on time, every time -- keeping clients, HMRC, and pension providers seamlessly informed daily. Undertake payroll data collection tailored to client needs and deadlines. Handle payroll client processing, BACS submissions, and compliance with confidence and professionalism. Lead/mentor junior payroll team colleagues, sharing your knowledge and building upon team success. Keeping up to date and on the ball with payroll legislation ensuring the highest standards for clients.

Knowledge and Experience:



Solid expertise in Payroll and Auto-Enrolment pension procedures/legislation with proven experience working in busy payroll bureaus or practice bureau environments. Strong and effective communication skills - able to build rapport with clients and HMRC alike. Great attention to detail, solid organisational skills and time management ability. Able to remain cool and calm under pressure, providing creative solutions to problems. Ideally with knowledge of Paycircle or Xero (training provided). Excellent IT skills - Excel, Word A proactive "can do" attitude - eager to grow your expertise.
