An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with a love of payroll to join the Payroll Team at Bettys & Taylors Group on an 18-month fixed term basis.


The Senior Payroll Coordinator will provide hands-on technical, process and administrative support to the Payroll Team and the wider business, helping build relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst enhancing and protecting Bettys & Taylors reputation with payroll compliance.


The role offers the opportunity to work on the daily payroll processing activities and support additional business change and projects which impact payroll including reconciling the weekly and monthly payrolls, supporting the month end reconciliation activities and supporting system updates, audits and PAYE impacting projects.


You'll have outstanding excel skills, a strong sense of attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues. You'll be an outstanding administrator and co-ordinator too and work well within a team.


Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role requires a self-starter with a common-sense approach who has some proven experience in payroll. You'll be part of a highly motivated and dedicated team who sit at the centre of the business - keeping our employees paid accurately and on time.


What you bring




Excellent Excel skills - with proven experience in lookup and pivot tables (as a minimum). Experience of working within a busy and complex payroll department. Knowledge of legislation impacting the payroll industry. Good organisational and communication skills with a pro active attitude towards delivering outstanding customer service.
