Senior Peer Mentoring Coordinator
to lead and develop our Peer Mentoring Scheme at the University of Leicester Students' Union. We're committed to making a positive difference to every student's experience and this role will give you the opportunity to be part of a friendly, supportive team that values inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.
In this important role, you'll be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating our Peer Mentoring Scheme. You'll supervise a team of Lead Mentors, student staff, and our Peer Mentoring Coordinator, ensuring high-quality training, engagement activities, and ongoing support for students across the university.
Your key responsibilities will include building partnerships with university departments and key stakeholders and delivering evaluation reports that showcase the impact of the scheme on the student experience.
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced of working in a professional office environment, ideally within Higher Education.
Skilled at supervising and enabling staff/volunteers to be effective in their roles.
An excellent communicator with strong organisational and project management skills.
Confident working with diverse student populations and multiple stakeholders.
A strong knowledge of trends and issues affecting higher education students, as well as a genuine passion for student development, will also be key to your success in this role.
