Your new role




An exciting opportunity for a

Senior

People Advisor

to join our

HR

team. In this role, you will support the Commercial Manufacturing function across the full employee lifecycle, contribute to the implementation of our People Strategy, and ensure best practice and compliance with employment law. Key responsibilities include:

Provide timely advice to colleague on the full range of employment issues. Proactively take steps to identify and solve people related issues. Lead implementation improvements to our onboarding processes for all new starts, reviewing practice, and ensuring early positive engagement with the business for all new staff. Coach and develop line managers to deal with employee related matters in the most effective way possible. Drive a culture of accountability across newly established and growing teams, including managers who are new to supervision. Drive ER casework to completion and best possible outcome. Manage HR systems and data, ensuring staff data is up-to-date and providing reports and statistics when required for senior colleagues. Leverage our Attendance Management procedures and best practice to support employee wellbeing and manage absence responsibly. Manage aspects of reward for RoslinCT, ensuring pay increased and bonus payments are implemented fairly and consistently. Support change management plans, including providing support for recruitment processes in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition team. Support the Head of People to deliver the business' People Strategy.

About you



At least 7 years' experience working in a HR Advisor role is essential. Ideally, you will have experience of working within a fast-growing manufacturing or life science organisation. A strong understanding of current UK employment legislation. Prior experience with managing skilled worker visas and immigration processes. Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to influence and maintain effective relationships with all internal staff. A high level of emotional intelligence with the ability to understand complexity and exercise sound judgement. Whilst we have administrative support in the team, you should have the ability and willingness to support with some administration tasks when required. Exceptional verbal, written and active listening communication skills. A positive and solutions focussed mindset, using sound judgement to navigate complex situations. Confident with data and reporting, with strong numeracy skills to analyse HR KPI's. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. Strong team player, with a willingness to learn and share knowledge with the wider HR team.

Qualifications



CIPD Qualification, or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
