Job Summary



This

Senior Petrophysicist

role is for an

experienced Petrophysicist

looking for a career where they can continue to develop their scientific skills and knowledge in a commercial environment where their work will have real-world impacts.


You will work in the seismic imaging center interacting with different teams like seismic processing, reservoir characterization and CCUS.


Key Responsibilities



Review well?logs for the processing team, performing quality control and log editing to deliver a conditioned set of Vp, Vs and density logs. Conduct petrophysical evaluations by integrating core?analysis results, reservoir?property measurements, and production data in all type of environment (clastic, carbonate, unconventional ...) Perform rock?physics and cross?plot analyses to delineate relationships between petrophysical and elastic properties within the elastic domain. Develop petro?elastic models that predict elastic properties from reservoir characteristics in various scenarios. Demonstrate mastery of industry?standard petrophysics software packages.

Qualifications and Experience



Required:

Minimum Qualification BSc in Geoscience. At least 5 y ears of experience in petrophysical interpretation and rock physics. Passion and enthusiasm for science, geology and problem-solving challenges Strong technical knowledge in petrophysics/rock physics Enthusiastic attitude towards learning and passion for your subject Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively Open communication and good collaboration with teams and clients Ability to successfully manage and deliver on project deadlines Enthusiastic attitude towards learning and flexibility to adapt to new challenges or changes in direction

Preferred:

MSc/PhD preferred Previous experience in seismic reservoir characterization, AVO analysis, seismic inversion or geomechanics is a plus Knowledge of Powerlog software
