We are a very busy, large department in a fast-paced teaching hospital. Therefore, the ability to be able to work under pressure and respond to a frequently changing environment is essential. To carry out under the direction, control and, where necessary, the direct supervision of a Senior Pharmacy Technician or suitably qualified person, the dispensing of inpatient, outpatient, community unit, self-medication wallets, discharge medication (TTOs), controlled drugs (CDs) and HIV pharmaceuticals against previously clinically checked prescriptions.



To carry out under the direction, control and where necessary, the direct supervision of the Principal Pharmacist, EPMA, departmental support for computerised systems and robotics with the Pharmacy Department.
