Snappy Snaps Watford is looking for a confident and technically skilled

Senior Photo & Sales Assistant

to join our friendly, creative team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, is comfortable with photo/printing equipment, and is confident driving sales on the shop floor.

You will play a key part in daily store operations, technical production, customer service, and supporting the team to deliver a high-quality experience.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service Take professional passport and ID photographs Operate printing/photo lab equipment Produce high-quality prints, canvases, wall art & personalised gifts Recommend and upsell products confidently Support workflow, organisation, and stock management Help maintain merchandising standards Assist with training junior staff Handle customer concerns professionally

What Makes You a Great FitTechnical Skills (Essential)

Comfortable using computers and learning new systems Able to operate or quickly learn photographic & printing equipment Good troubleshooting ability for minor technical issues Strong attention to detail and quality control

Sales Skills (Essential)

Confident talking to customers and recommending suitable products Proven experience in sales, upselling, or working to targets Positive, engaging, and persuasive personality Ability to identify customer needs and turn them into sales

General Requirements

Retail, customer service, or sales experience (essential) Experience in a photo/print environment (preferred but not required) Excellent communication and organisational skills Calm under pressure; able to multitask Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn Photoshop knowledge is a bonus
