We are recruiting a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Planner
to will play a critical role in driving project success by developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules for high-profile and complex projects. Working closely with company clients and project teams, you will provide expert planning, scheduling, and reporting services to ensure the timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
As a member of the senior leadership team, you will represent the companies values and best practices through exemplifying a collaborative, skilled and innovative approach.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling:
Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using
Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, or other relevant software.
Integrate project controls methodologies, such as earned value management (EVM), into project plans.
Coordinate with project teams to establish baselines and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Track project progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and present detailed project performance reports, dashboards, and forecasts for stakeholders.
Conduct time-risk analyses and scenario planning to optimise project outcomes.
Client Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for project planning and scheduling.
Lead workshops and meetings to communicate progress and resolve scheduling challenges.
Mentorship & Leadership:
Support the development of junior planners by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Represent Team Plan's values and best practices across client engagements: collaborative, skilled, innovative.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and controls, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
Proficient in planning software, including Primavera P6 and Power BI.
Strong understanding of project controls principles, including EVM and critical path analysis.
Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and liaising with senior stakeholders.
Ability to travel to client sites across the UK as required.
Desirable
Professional certifications such as L3 Diploma in Project controls, or equivalent.
Experience in risk management tools (e.g., Oracle Risk Analysis)
Knowledge of UK construction standards and industry best practices.
