We are looking for a
Senior Planner
to join our Building team in London. The successful candidate will lead the project planning function through all stages of the project lifecycle, from bid stage through to handover and occupation on design and build projects.
What you'll do:
To construct and manage the production and implementation of the fully integrated master programme, phase sequence plans and method statements together with the monitoring and reporting against such control documents.
Construct programmes from 1st principles using drawings, models or processes. Produces supporting methodologies. Tests different methodologies / ways of working.
Identify and set up constraints within a programme.
Own customer engagement on programmes: respond to comments, pre empt issues, and communicate proactively.
Communicate drivers, key risks, float and trends to project leadership; tailor messaging from 1:1s to wider team briefings.
Produce concise programme narratives/reports and coordinate inputs across the project team.
Simplify/manipulate master programmes with coding/filters; translate complex Gantt charts into accessible formats.
What you'll bring to the role:
Demonstratable experience of delivering the planning function on major construction projects - specifically commercial office, data centres, or other complex buildings - working through bid, PCSA and delivery stages.
Demonstrable experience of different forms of contract including JCT, MPTC, NEC etc
Excellent working knowledge of Planning Software (Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera)
HNC/Degree qualification in a construction related subject or trade qualifications
Experienced in preparing visual management reports using PowerBi (or similar) as the reporting platform.
Member of professional institution, such as CIOB or ICE
