Summary

We are seeking a passionate Play Worker to join our team at Premier Education. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality play and physical activity sessions for primary school children. Your contributions will help promote active lifestyles and enhance children's enjoyment of sports and other activities during our wrap around care provision. (breakfast and afterschool clubs)

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging play sessions that promote physical activity and teamwork among children. Supervise children during playtime, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Encourage participation and foster a positive attitude towards physical activities. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and school staff to promote our programs. Assist in the development of new activities that align with children's interests and abilities. Maintain equipment and resources to ensure they are safe and ready for use.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young learners. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable. A passion for sports and physical activity is a must. A minimum level 2 in Education or Early years required.
