Are you organised, reliable, energetic, fun and creative? Do you have leadership experience or a willingness to learn fast? We are seeking a Senior Playworker to join our team delivering childcare before, after school and during school holidays

The senior will assist in, supervise and delegate the day to day running of our out of school care service. Ensure children receive a safe, secure, caring and supportive environment, provide opportunities to foster their growth and development within play and motivate the team.

Hours are 2:30-6 Monday to Friday and 1:30-6 one day per week for planning meeting. During school holidays you will also work 3 full days per week . Please only apply if you can work these hours. We have breakfast and lunch cover jobs also available if you require more hours .

They will have responsibility for the running of the session, supervise playworkers, liaise with parents and passing any relevant information on to Manager.

They will be responsible to the deputy manager, manager and Company directors.

Hours of work are between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday. Term time

You will hold (or the equivalent of) a Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 7 and also either have or be willing to work towards the Level 9 qualification in leadership. You will have experience of working with current legislation and guidance for school age childcare. Experience of care inspections would be an advantage.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate leadership quality and willingness to learn.

Pay: From 12.60 per hour
