A bit about the role...



Act as the custodian of the Allwyn Delivery Framework and all associated processes (assessments, stages, risks and issues, change control, resource and budget management, dependency management, escalations and tolerances, governance etc.). Ensure the Allwyn Delivery Framework is ISO 9001 compliant. Accountable for ensuring that all other teams in the business are fully knowledgeable on all Allwyn Delivery Framework aspects. Monitoring and measuring project and programme performance through data and analysis, identifying trends and recommending solutions and improved ways of working. Leverage and investigate the capabilities of AI to improve quality and efficiency around project management. Identifying trends and patterns to create insight driven performance improvement. Act as the PMO tool/system expertise looking into existing systems, where integration (where possible) will drive improvement and driving this through from requirements to implementation to roll out and embedding. Project risks and issues - policy (risk framework e.g. scoring, mitigation, escalation triggers) process (including inputs e.g. templates, output e.g. templates and decisions, actions). This role is accountable for ensuring that all other teams in the business are fully knowledgeable on all risk and issue aspects. Identify trends in risks (commonality, length of resolution, risks by project, team, theme etc.) to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Be the custodian of all PMO related reporting e.g. status report, Gambling Commission reporting, Functional Risk Register, ISO, Licence Compliance Matrix, ad hoc reports etc. Facilitate Change Delivery Board Steerco. This role is accountable for the project resource management tool for in-flight projects. Stakeholder management both upwards and downwards. A key element of this role is recommending reporting and driving change up to Exec level. Lead a team of PMO Analysts, creating a motivated, dedicated, assertive team that continually drives performance. Leadership and further development of the PMO team to drive internal progression and skillsets.

Department Description:

Ensures the delivery of all Allwyn projects are carried out with integrity, in line with the agreed Allwyn Delivery Framework and support projects to deliver on time, to scope, quality and budget. Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Management teams to ensure the effective hand-off between Project and BAU risk Management. Ensure ISO 9001 standards are maintained along with managing internal compliance ref project delivery.

What you'll be doing...



Lead the development and maintenance of the Allwyn Delivery Framework, ensuring consistent project management practices, processes, standards and project and programme controls and governance. Manage project and programme planning, risk, issues, change processes, budget management, and progress reporting. Manage current and pipeline project information consolidating an enterprise-wide view of resource loading, delivery performance, cost vs. budget, risks and issues. Owns the Risk register and licence to operate matrix for the Change and Portfolio Management department. Lead reviews and improvement of the company's approach to project management, measurement systems, tools and ways of working. Report progress of relevant project and programme touch points identified in current and pipeline plans to stakeholders and programme boards. Drive continuous improvement and apply industry best practice to develop the companies Centre of Excellence for Project, Programme and Portfolio Management. To ensure the Allwyn Delivery Framework is ISO 9001 compliant. Develop and implement the Allwyn Delivery Framework to manage project and programme risk & issues and mitigations. Manage the adherence and compliance with established process, procedures, governance and controls. Develop and standardise reporting and documentation templates. Facilitate and chair meetings, including Exec/Steering groups where appropriate. Provide support and training to orientate Programme teams to the ways of working of the PMO. Provide support to the Project/Programme Management team to enable the delivery of projects to time, budget, and quality objectives. Line manages, coaches and develops the PMO team.

What experience we're looking for...



Microsoft Project; Power BI, resource profiles, and link plans for complex, multi-resourced projects. Microsoft Office; Copilot, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of process improvement and appraisal activities. Stakeholder management both upwards and below. Managing and developing teams.
