The Role
Looking to get ahead in your career in PPC? We're building a next generation agency, and looking for a bright and driven PPC expert to help us to shape our future focused PPC product and team.
As Senior PPC Manager, you'll lead the planning, activation, and optimisation of paid search campaigns across paid search platforms. You'll collaborate closely with our Founder, a Paid Media Executive, and an Automation Engineer to continue to evolve strategy through to delivery of our already high performing search accounts.
You'll play a key role in shaping our agency's paid search proposition, integrating paid search with the wider media mix, and mentoring future talent. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to grow into broader digital leadership as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage paid search strategy, planning, and execution for a diverse client base.
Innovation: Stay ahead of paid search trends, testing and deploying new tools and approaches.
Team Development: Mentor and upskill junior team members; help build and lead a growing PPC team.
Automation & AI: Partner with our Automation Engineer to develop and implement AI-driven PPC management and reporting solutions.
Performance Analysis: Analyse complex data sets, optimise campaigns, and deliver actionable insights to exceed performance benchmarks.
Budget & Commercial Accountability: Manage campaign budgets, ensure ROI, and contribute to agency revenue growth.
Cross-Channel Integration: Ensure paid search is aligned with clients' full media mix (paid and organic).
New Business: Support the agency in pitching and onboarding new clients.
Continuous Learning: Foster a test-and-learn culture and embrace ongoing professional development.
Requirements
5+ years' agency experience in planning and activating search campaigns (Google & Microsoft Ads).
Strong analytical skills; advanced proficiency with Excel, Looker Studio, and data analysis tools.
Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Google Tag Manager, GA4).
Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver commercial results.
Self-starter, proactive, solutions-focused, and adaptable.
Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Experience integrating paid search with broader digital or media strategies is a plus.
Reporting Line
This role reports directly to the Founder.
