Role Description
We are seeking a
Senior PR & Communications Manager
to architect and execute the storytelling strategy behind VAYNE Global's growing influence. You will act as the
strategic gatekeeper
between the Founder, the media, and the world's most influential cultural and scientific networks.
Your work will drive how journalists, investors, and the public perceive the companies shaping the next decade of health, space, and luxury.
You will:
Build and execute high-impact PR campaigns across all three brands, crafting a cohesive narrative that spans innovation, influence, and legacy*. Lead relationships with major media houses (Financial Times, Vogue, Wired, Nature, Forbes, Business Insider, etc.) to secure placements and feature stories.
Oversee content strategy across social and earned channels; speeches, op-eds, whitepapers, interviews, and press releases.
Craft positioning for upcoming
ESA, Innovate UK, and academic launches
.
Shape the public image of the Founder (executive visibility, keynote talks, and brand alignment).
Manage press offices, freelancers, and PR agencies when necessary.
Develop strategic partnerships with institutions, luxury houses, and scientific bodies.
This role sits
at the nerve centre of communication,
blending
scientific accuracy with artistic direction and media dominance.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a rare hybrid mind: someone who can merge
journalistic precision
with
luxury-brand storytelling
and
scientific intelligence
.
Required:
Minimum 9 years experience in PR, communications, or media strategy.
Track record of press placements with Tier-1 outlets (BBC, Vogue, Wired, FT, etc.).
Experience working across one or more of: luxury, tech, pharma, or scientific sectors*. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into emotionally compelling stories.
Confident copywriting for long-form and executive communications (press releases, op-eds, speeches, investor decks).
Deep understanding of global media cycles, digital PR, and influencer ecosystems.
Sharp judgment under pressure, and discretion working with sensitive corporate or personal information.
Existing media network (UK/EU or US).
Experience leading cross-functional PR campaigns involving both luxury and innovation.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Power Automate, Planner, OneDrive, etc.).
Prior experience working with founders, investors, or public figures.
Passion for space, culture, and science.
Location
Hybrid (London, Edinburgh, or Leeds)
Occasional travel for events, press engagements, and ESA/luxury brand collaborations.
Compensation
