About you:

  • You are a dynamic, skilled Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years working at an experienced level and are looking to take a step up into your next role, or an experienced Senior Practitioner looking for something new.
  • You take a strength-based approach to your leadership and work with people in the community.
  • Work with a flexible \'can-do\' approach.
  • You are able to provide clinical leadership for Occupational Therapists and unqualified CCO\'s within the team by the provision of supervision and ensuring that clinical standards are maintained. (This includes support with AYSE and OT progression).
  • You have demonstrable experience of enabling the learning of others.
  • Can manage a small caseload often involving more complex interventions and assist colleagues with safeguarding decision work.
  • You will have a good working knowledge of Disabled Facilities Grants for major adaptation work, the Mental Capacity Act, moving and handling, and specialist equipment.
  • You are able to develop links with local community health professionals, housing, district councils and other local services and are able to collaborate and influence the development of system wide working.
  • Can support managers to meet the departments\' performance and service delivery requirements, to manage systems effectively and to work positively within a culture of change.
