Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and review comprehensive permanency plans to secure childrens long-term welfare.
Lead and contribute to court proceedings, providing expert advice and professional representation.
Prepare detailed, high-quality written reports including Child Permanence Reports and Annex A.
Conduct parenting and viability assessments, delivering thorough and evidence-based recommendations.
Undertake rigorous risk assessments to prioritise child safety and wellbeing in all decisions.
Collaborate closely with colleagues to foster a cohesive and supportive team atmosphere.
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in permanency planning and court-related work within childrens services.
Demonstrable ability to produce robust and well-evidenced assessments and reports.
Excellent risk assessment and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
