Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Gartree, a category B Prison, located in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours
Full time is 37.5 hours a week.
Monday to Sunday: 07:00 - 20:00
You will be working approximately 3 days a week, including alternate weekends.
Salary
You'll receive an annual salary up to 49,175 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received
• promote safe patient care
• develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Requirements

• NMC Registered nurse - Adult
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development
• Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive problem solving skills
• Motivated as an individual and when working in a team

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
