As a Barclays Senior Process Designer \xe2\x80\x93 Product Control, you will be responsible for design and execution of specific initiatives. You will be involved in transformation activities including design of future state, planning, execution, process assessment and mapping, communications, analysis, and future state operating model/process design and execution. Your activities will include stakeholder management, analysis, design, project planning documentation and delivery.

Hybrid Working

What will you be doing?

  • Understanding implications of the FRTB programme / strategy for Finance and focus on delivering near and long term milestones
  • Performing detailed process base-lining exercises, covering process design, performance, review of documentation
  • Working closely with VP/stakeholders to facilitate engagement with senior PMO, Finance Line, Risk and IT colleagues to plan, discuss and implement change
  • Utilising Agile techniques to ensure high visibility to stakeholders and continuous delivery through sprint cycles
  • Working with IT to ensure designs are addressing the user requirements and the root cause and identifying and suggesting improvements
  • Working with VP and BI Finance stakeholders to ensure FRTB requirements are defined, understood and aligned to the broader Finance Strategy
  • Partnering with the FRTB delivery team to ensure requirements are aligned to the Finance strategy and prioritised by the programme
  • Executing programme deliverables in partnership with BI Finance teams
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Degree educated from a top tier institution
  • Qualified Accountant with a strong grasp of IFRS accounting standards
  • Product Control experience including SME knowledge of P&L Explain, Backtesting and Valuations processes
  • Business analysis and problem solving skillset
Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Excellent Power-point skills, with the ability to storyboard and produce best in class presentations
  • Strong data manipulation skills including Excel
  • Broad financial services experience with knowledge of Finance process, system and technologies
  • Planning: Strong skills in project and programme planning and management

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
