About the Role
We are seeking to appoint to the role of
Senior Procurement Consultant.
As a member of the Public Sector Customer Engagement Team, this role is integral to YPO's bespoke procurement function, having skills in building strategic client relationships and expertise in delivering proactive and customer-focused bespoke procurement services. You'll identify opportunities for continued growth and development and engage with existing and potential clients to deliver an exceptional experience and service. A key element of the role will be the delivery of end-to-end procurement solutions using relevant systems.
Your strong knowledge of UK legislation and public sector procurement, while encompassing diverse client policies, will ensure compliance in project delivery. Working collaboratively across internal and external teams, and managing a small team, you'll create and nurture professional relationships with varying stakeholders. You'll work collaboratively and think creatively to develop new solutions for clients to drive continuous improvement, capitalise on new opportunities, and share best-practice.
With strong commercial awareness and analytical skills, you will help ensure projects meet deadlines and targets, working with accuracy and efficiency to enhance the quality of project delivery and ensure successful outcomes for all.

Experience of working in the UK public sector.
Significant experience in a procurement role.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both key internal and external stakeholders.
In depth understanding of UK public sector procurement legislation, and the current social, economic, legislative, and political environment in which they operate.
