Senior Producer
Jack Morton is seeking a
Senior Producer
to join our Production Live team - a dynamic individual who can execute large-scale programs, manage and mentor multiple team members, and work with senior-level clients. You'll maintain strong relationships with peers across account, creative, strategy, and technology, ensuring all aspects of a program are successfully delivered. You'll also be responsible for the fiscal health of each project and for communicating effectively with both your team and clients.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery
Effectively manage multiple or complex projects and budgets simultaneously through entire life cycle; hold regular team meetings and manage communications between team members, ensuring all deadlines are met
Continually look for innovative solutions and production methods
Possess the ability to think proactively and critically and be able take initiative as required
Take ownership of the production process through the life cycle of the project to ensure the entire team are engaged with the process and it is being followed and tracked
Client Focus/Relationship Management
Demonstrate an understanding of clients' business and program goals
Guide the development, writing and presentation of incremental program proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and staffing plans as they relate to solutions
Able to manage out-of-scope client requests and lead commercial conversations with clients across all aspects of the project
Promote a culture of trust, respect, and transparency with the client, able to think through challenges and manage client expectations
Commercial Management
Work with key account team members to create scopes and program budgets and manage the revenue throughout complex, multi-faceted client programs
Demonstrate exceptional commercial awareness, leading the team and client through the contractual processes to ensure that we are not exposed contractually or financially at any point through the project life cycle
Take full ownership of project budgets from scoping and costing through to reconciliation and reporting, and track financial performance across multiple projects, proactively managing spend and margin. Provide accurate forecasting and financial reporting to the Head of Production and finance teams
Ensure all production decisions are commercially sound while maintaining creative integrity
Negotiate with suppliers and partners to secure best value, quality, and reliability
Support the development of commercial frameworks, pricing models, and best practices that strengthen the agency's profitability
Contribute to new business efforts, creating robust, competitive budgets and production approaches for pitches
Creative Execution
Recognize when tasks within the process are outdated; create / adapt templates to fit project-specific requirements clearly and concisely
Ability to turn a creative idea or strategy into tactics within a project plan and budget
Execute the integrity of the creative treatment in all deliverables
Protect and nurture creative ideas by working openly and collaboratively with the creative team to help bring ideas from infancy to fruition
Translate creative ideas into executable plans that retain ambition and integrity
Ensure sustainability, accessibility, and inclusivity are embedded into every production decision
Ensure innovation is at the heart of our creative by exploring and championing innovative ideas, technologies, materials and formats that enhance audience engagement
Team Collaboration
Support the department development with innovative ideas, proposals of creating efficiencies and initiatives to continually evolve and future proof the team
Act as a cultural catalyst within the production team, bringing inspiration, energy, and new ideas to the table. Keep the department plugged into what's happening across the experiential and cultural landscape - the work, the tech, the trends, and the talent that are shaping the industry
Challenge internal thinking by questioning the 'how' and the 'why' of what we do - encouraging better, smarter, and more efficient ways of working
Collaborate with the Director of Production Live to evolve processes, tools, and workflows that enhance creativity, efficiency, and delivery
Develop talent of junior team by providing challenging assignments and ongoing constructive feedback
Skills and Experience
5+ years of marketing/client services experience with at least last 3 years delivering solutions
Accountable, results-driven, and able to take ownership of responsibilities
Strong and agile project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, changing requirements and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Effective leadership skills - confident and comfortable leading and managing diverse teams
A passion for proactive problem solving by anticipating potential challenges and a demonstrated ability to think creatively about solutions ensuring seamless execution of events
Excellent verbal, business and written communication skills
Excellent commercial awareness and budgeting skills, ability to manage, monitor and reconcile budget effectively and ensure commercial success of a project
Strong familiarity and comfort with technology in general, a desire to remain informed of current trends and improvements, and the ability to communicate highly technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Highly detail-oriented with commitment to ensuring accuracy and high-quality results
Experience of nurturing and developing more junior or less experience team members and an understanding of how to help them grow
