You will play a key role in enabling our mission to redefine shopping, payments, and banking experiences for millions of users across the region. You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, data analytics, and business stakeholders to architect robust payment systems and continuously elevate performance.
About Us:
Leading fintech platform in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region with a mission to help people make their dreams come true by building the most customer-centric financial super-app on earth. We serve millions of users in the region and partner with leading global and regional brands, as well as small and medium businesses. The brand is Saudi Arabia's first fintech unicorn and is backed by prominent local and international investors, including Sanabil Investments (a wholly owned company by the Public Investment Fund - PIF), SNB Capital, and Checkout.com, amongst others. We operate from our headquarters in Riyadh, with additional regional and global support offices.
About the Role:
We're seeking a Senior Product Manager for our Payments team. As a Senior PM, you will be crucial in leading the way to build cutting-edge platforms that enable seamless and scalable transactions across the brand's ecosystem. Drawing on your proficiency in Payment Acceptance, such as payment processing systems, payment orchestration, and PTSPs, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and high-performing payment integrations and platforms. Your work will directly impact millions of users and support our brand's mission to redefine shopping, payments, and banking experiences across the region. With a proven track record of managing integrations and technical platforms at scale, you will collaborate closely with engineers, infrastructure and security teams, data analysts, and business stakeholders to architect robust payment systems, solve complex reliability and cost challenges, and continuously elevate our brand's payment performance. You are a driven, determined, curious team player, knowing that collective strength means we all win. With a positive outlook, you are solution-oriented-persevering regardless of circumstances, always finding a way through, no matter the challenges. You will effectively find a way to work with everyone through empathy and respect. You will be driven and comfortable with responding quickly with urgency, with the ability to change course without losing momentum and energy, resulting in great success.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and scale the brand's payment integration with PTSPs and orchestration layer through platforms, ensuring routing flexibility, downtime resiliency, and integration scalability.
Manage PCI DSS-compliant payment journeys, including Apple Pay and card processing flows, and collaborate with Security and Infra teams for ongoing compliance.
Lead third-party PTSP and payment gateway and processor integrations (e.g., Checkout.com, Amazon Payment Services, MPGS, CYBS) and ensure seamless switching and optimization across providers.
Optimize payment performance metrics, including success rate, cost, and availability by driving initiatives such as 3DS testing, MCC routing, and retry logic improvements.
Develop and execute product strategies aligned with [Our Company]'s business goals--ensuring scalability, cost-efficiency, and reliability across all payment systems.
Partner closely with Risk, FinOps, Card, Engineering, and other operational teams.
Drive experimentation and continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and structured A/B testing.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in payments, fintech, or platform infrastructure.
Familiarity and experience with local payment schemes and regulations in KSA and UAE.
Proven experience managing complex payment integrations, orchestration platforms, and PCI-compliant systems.
Strong understanding of payment acceptance lifecycle, including authorization, settlement, retries, and reconciliation.
Demonstrated executional excellence with a track record of delivering mission-critical systems and improvements.
Excellent collaboration skills across technical, business, and compliance stakeholders.
Deep product thinking with the ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive, scalable solutions.
Data-driven and detail-oriented, with experience conducting experiments, metric analysis, and product iteration.
A natural leader who thrives in ambiguity, brings clarity to chaos, and rallies cross-functional teams around shared goals.
