The Product



EBS is an innovative student management system that gives educational institutions a unified view of their student data. Designed for further education (FE), higher education (HE), and training providers, EBS streamlines the collection, management, analysis, and sharing of student information--enhancing operational efficiency and boosting student engagement



The Role



As the Senior Product Manager, you will hold responsibility for growing and developing ebs system across Higher Education, Further Education, and Work-Based Learning. As a global market leader, this involves working closely with our education customers across the world, as well as supporting sales with strategic opportunities.



The role is mostly remote but will require travel to one of our offices, which is likely to be Sheffield.



Your responsibilities will include:



Defining product requirements and user stories based on customer feedback and business needs.

Creating and maintaining product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

Collaborating with engineering, design, and QA to ensure successful product delivery.

Conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Supporting the development of documentation for features and products.

Taking ownership of product strategy, driving innovation and shaping development for EBS or significant feature sets.

To support the Product Owners and Business Analysts within Tribal's product development framework.

Developing business cases and ROI analysis for new product initiatives.

Managing cross-functional product development and rollout.

Mentoring junior product managers through peer mentorship.

Leading customer discovery initiatives and validate product-market fit.

Defining product pricing and go-to-market strategies.

Managing stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear communication and engagement across roadmaps, feedback cycles, and market activities.



The skills you'll need:



Existing knowledge of Product Management practices.

Demonstrable experience of successful commercial product delivery

Strategy development and market evaluation experience

Competency in managing a medium/large Product team.

Good understanding and experience of working with development teams.

Experience of creating and maintaining software roadmaps.



It would be great if you had:



A background in education Product Management.

Knowledge of the Further Education sector;
