Are you an experienced Production Manager looking to join a growing business and to perform a strategic role focussing on the medium to longer term?
We are looking for a strong leader to assist the Production Director and lead on developing and implementing improvements to reduce costs, maximise productivity, enhance employee experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
Leading the production management tean, you will contribute to the pre-production (planning) stage as well as production control and distribution.
You will have:
proven experience in manufacturing process improvement/industrial engineering, ideally within a timber environment
a track record of analysing processes, identifying areas for improving efficiency and effectiveness and implementing solutions (with the buy-in of the existing team)
experience of people management and coaching and development of management teams
project management skills
strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
expert production planning knowledge
an expert understanding of MRP systems
an advanced IT skillset to analyse data
experience of CNC programming

a salary of 60000 - 73000 depending on experience
