Location:

Prudhoe (near Newcastle upon Tyne)

Hours of work: Full time (37.5 hours per week)

with the option of overtime available.

8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

with flexibility to work overtime when occasionally required.

Offer package: 13.50 per hour (which is

26,325

OpenWorks Engineering develop CUAS, Air Defence and Optical Surveillance, Sensing and Tracking Technology for Defence and Security.

Main responsibilities:



We're looking for a number of highly motivated Senior Technicians to bring their experience of assembling and testing complex electro-mechanical products to our growing team.

As a Senior Technician,, you'll:

Assist the production team with the assembly and testing of the range of autonomous optics and SkyWall products Assemble and test intricate electro-mechanical camera systems in a clean room environment Conduct thorough debugging of systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently Assist in the training of Junior Technicians, sharing knowledge on best practices and technical skills Assemble projectiles Pack nets Pack parachutes Re-build shot projectiles from testing and training Join outdoor field testing Assist with user training activities
