You will serve as a member of Capacity Strategy and Insight within AMZL EU Launch and Expansion, the team responsible for growing Amazon's last mile delivery capability across Europe. Our network of delivery stations spans 9 countries, and you will be helping to plan its future. You'll be working out where we launch new buildings, and where we invest in existing ones. You'll be taking into account all the latest innovation that other teams are developing, and the changing needs and expectations of Amazon's customers. You'll use that to set out the future shape of our last mile delivery network. And you'll be constantly innovating and inventing to make your own job easier, and let you scale your impact.



Key job responsibilities

Lead 3-6 year strategy plans on how we support countries, cities, and metropolitan areas across Europe Take into account a range of products and services that our last mile delivery stations need to support Collaborate with teams across multiple varied functions to get alignment on approach and make sure plans are realistic and deliverable Scrutinize the way we are carrying out our strategic planning and drive initiatives to make it more efficient, more robust and more rigorous. Foster teamwork and partnership to achieve business objectives and ensure efficient operations Utilize analytical skills, business judgment, and strategic thinking to innovate on behalf of customers. Take ownership from project inception to completion, including creating and improving reports, discovering technical capabilities, and influencing work processes.


A day in the life

As a Senior Lifecycle Planning PM, you'll be based in one of our corporate offices and will own the strategic plans for one or more countries. You'll look ahead across the next 3-6 years to identify risks in our plans, and lead matrixed cross-functional teams to address those risks. You'll also work to continuously improve the completeness of those plans, folding in new products and services, and increasing the resilience and granularity of the way we are thinking. You will be using a combination of leadership, analytical skills, stakeholder management, business judgment, and strategic thinking to solve on behalf of our customers. You'll be partnering with a diverse range of teams across AMZL to develop the processes and mechanisms that will enable us to achieve our business objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Experience in program or project management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience leading process improvements Bachelor's degree Relevant experience working in a supply chain, logistics, or operations environment
