Job Summary



We are recruiting for a dynamic leader to lead and deliver a major & complex programme, ensuring alignment with client and organisational objectives. You'll drive performance through effective leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, strategic stakeholder engagement and implementation of best practice to ensure compliance and enhance service delivery.

Duties



Leadership of Programme/PMO team & project managers, ensuring all work & outputs are executed to meet Programme/PMO objectives/goals. Setting clear objectives, managing performance and ensuring team is appropriately skilled to deliver expected project outcomes. Ensuring the organisations policies/processes are adhered to. Liaise and engage with senior stakeholders including senior client team members/sponsors, managing and maintaining relationships. Ensuring all parties are informed/aware of project progress & aligned to enable successful completion of project objectives. Providing regular progress reports & updates on all aspects of the allocated area of Programme/PMO/functional area scope. Ensure compliance with contracts in terms of Programme/PMO delivery parameters & scope of service. Analyse & review complex information from multiple data sources in order to identify how different scenarios may impact project delivery, advising clients & internal stakeholders on potential outcomes/implications. Develop Programme/PMO management processes & SOP's, leading the implementation of system improvements for own programmes, ensuring the developments align with strategic business objectives. Liaise with key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement & collaboration between teams to ensure commercial viability & customer satisfaction. Act as a technical expert within the Programme/PMO function & associated projects, providing strategic advice to other senior managers to support successful delivery in line with programme outcomes.
Other duties include:

Support the business Programme Management/PMO Service Lead to continually improve Lysander's service delivery toolkit and establish best practice in Programme Management/PMO management. Work with Marketing function to support tenders, support interviews & meetings with prospective clients. Work closely with business leaders to grow Lysander's market share, maximising opportunities with existing clients, gaining new clients & business opportunities. Collaborate with the wider business, service streams and sectors to provide combined, innovative solutions to improve Lysander's competitive advantage within the Programme Management/PMO arena.

Experience



Proven experience leading & delivering large-scaled (50m+) programmes/projects Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams Demonstrated use of digital tools such as MS365, PowerBI and Smartsheet Deep understanding of Programme Management & PMO methodologies Exceptional communication & stakeholder engagement skills Ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences Client focused with a collaborative and solutions orientated approach Self-motivate and resilient, with excellent team building skills Commercially aware and business development minded Confident in influencing, negotiating and motivating others
It would also be beneficial if you have:

Degree in Construction/Engineering or related field Project/Programme Management qualifications Professional Membership in a relevant field

Pay: 75,000.00-85,000.00 per year
