Senior Project Engineer Opportunity at RWG



RWG's Medium Engine Business and Large Engine Business are looking for Senior Project Engineers. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to oversee the project engineers under their charge. The successful candidate will also be the single point of contact between RWG and Customers with respect to technical and commercial requirements.

An overview of your day



Provide mentorship, instruction, and oversight to project engineers under their supervision Control and organise the effort of multiple project engineers to ensure satisfactory outcomes and performance Providing regular Reports to Management, for Finance and Material provisioning purposes Agrees schedules both internally to Project, and with the Customer representatives Populate and maintain relevant KPI's for management review. Compilation and submission/presentation of quotations, tender responses and sales initiatives ensuring they meet business and Customers' requirements Providing forecast of Arisings for Budgetary purposes, based on Customer responsibilities Responsible for managing commercial projects through the job life cycle Provision of technical support to customers where required Management and maintenance of customer technical information. Ensure administration duties are carried out effectively and in a timely manner Communicate effectively within the department and provide support and assistance to other staff/suppliers where appropriate Agreeing workscopes and Final Quotation values with the customer

What We Need From You:



Previous experience in a similar role Apprenticeship or Engineering qualification required Ability to identify and implement efficiency/margin improvement opportunities Good technical knowledge of Gas Turbines - desirable but not essential A positive and constructive approach, with excellent communication and diplomacy skills to satisfy both internal and external Customer demands Manage time and workload to ensure that all Contractual milestones are met Ability to travel, position may entail travel to customer sites, which may be overseas
