Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee projects from inception to completion. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and delivery. You will manage large-scale, complex projects that align with our business strategy and deliver tangible value to both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead project planning sessions, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans that align with organisational goals and ensure timely execution. Utilise Jira for tracking project progress and managing tasks efficiently. Facilitate regular team meetings to assess progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project objectives. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resource availability and allocation. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and changes. Prepare detailed reports on project performance metrics for senior management review. Mentor junior project managers and team members in best practices for project management.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Project Manager in a senior role, preferably within a similar industry. Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Workday, and Confluence. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in guiding teams towards successful outcomes. Proficient in root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
