Are you a Senior Project Manager who is willing to build their experience within D&A Transformation function and curious about working in large transformation projects ?

This opportunity will allow you to lead complex and large-scale, moderate to high-risk projects across the project lifecycle to ensure delivery that is timely, in budget and within scope. Projects will be focused in the D&A Commercial space, working closely with the Pricing Framework and Commercial Transformation functions. This is an individual contributor role, reporting into a member of the D&A Transformation Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads large-scale and/or high-risk projects that involve multiple senior internal and external partners
  • Responsible for development of project artefacts, coordinated project plans, resource and contingency plans, ensuring they are prioritised and detailed and that risk management processes are in place
  • Partners with project sponsors/customers to define project objectives, achievements and success criteria and develops status reports to update senior partners on project progress, and gains commitments to ensure corrective actions take place if required
  • Anticipates issues and delays and evaluates trade-offs between project size, complexity, cost, risk etc. effectively assessing and resolving high-priority project risks
  • Leads multiple workstreams and large project teams and delivering results that meet the success parameters stated in the case
  • Responsible for project budget request process and performs regular financial reviews, tracking and measuring financial performance against plan and validating financial forecasts
  • Ensures all projects implement to LSEG Group Standards for project methodology, governance and risk management
Required Experience and Expertise:
  • Significant experience in project or programme management with experience of working on large transformation initiatives of relevance to the Commercial space e.g. product simplification, pricing strategies, operating models etc
  • Knowledge of practices and approaches for running and navigating the organisation to support project/programme objectives.
  • Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex information and findings in a concise and simple format that is tailored and understood for the appropriate audiences.
  • Continuously seeks new ways of working to make processes run smoother and faster.
  • Interacts well with others, quickly establishing rapport building positive relationships and networks.
  • Builds positive relationships with stakeholders to understand their drivers and negotiate outcomes
  • Understands different approaches to project management (e.g. Agile, Waterfall etc.) and ensures flexibility to deliver and implement within different ways of working.
This is a Fixed term contract role which runs until end of 2024 with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. We offer hybrid working model with opportunity to work from home 2-3 days a week.
