Senior Project Manager required for Washroom Fit-out contracts in London.

The Role:


As

Senior Project Manager

, you will be responsible for establishing, coordinating, and managing a high-profile interior fit-out project. You will oversee the project lifecycle - from planning and procurement to delivery and handover - ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and manage the project team to deliver successful project outcomes Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Monitor project progress and manage risks, issues, and changes Report regularly on project status to senior management and stakeholders Maintain high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

Candidate Profile:



Third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field - or equivalent industry experience Proven experience in delivering large-scale fit-out or new build projects Commercially astute with strong financial and contractual knowledge Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities Ability to work under pressure and make sound, strategic decisions High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety

Main Duties:


As

Senior Project Manager

, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a landmark fit-out project. Your responsibilities will include:

Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure all necessary resources are in place to meet programme deadlines. Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial targets. Ensure all work is completed to client specifications and quality standards, including implementation of the Control Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Maintain strict compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations. Effectively manage all project resources, including internal staff, site labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, and support departments (e.g., design and factory teams). Set clear performance targets, implement reporting procedures, and monitor team and stakeholder performance accordingly. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their representatives, providing timely updates and resolving any project issues proactively. Foster and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Ensure adherence to all contractual obligations and maintain accurate project records to protect the company's commercial position. Implement and uphold company Operations and Safety Management Procedures throughout the project, promoting a culture of safety and accountability. Undertake additional responsibilities as required by senior management, in line with your knowledge, experience, and capability.
