As a Barclays Senior Project Manager you will lead the FX and Rates migration project. This is a large and complex asset class that forms a material part of the Strategic Implementation Program (SIP) This is a major initiative to migrate from legacy risk systems to strategic architecture, for the Macro, Fixed Income and Securitised Products businesses. In this role you will develop key understanding of the Macro desks, risk systems and the strategic architecture roadmap.

What will you be doing?

  • Taking ownership of highly critical parts of the Macro Rates delivery plan
  • Developing an understanding of the front to back delivery of front office risk system changes
  • Taking accountability for ensuring the project delivers to committed timelines, and working to problem solve and mitigate any risks or issues that arise during delivery
  • Taking accountability for regular project reporting and governance
  • Taking responsibility for analysis of metrics and other SIP project reporting requirements
  • Taking responsibility for preparing project updates, and other project governance
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Degree level qualification
  • Experience in Project Management for large complex projects, with understanding of high quality governance practices
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to adapt approach to different levels of seniority as appropriate
  • Ability to work collaboratively, influence and support teams through periods of change
Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Experience in Investment Banking/ Front Office technology delivery projects
  • Experience working in large, complex organisations, delivering migration or change projects
  • Experience in the change technology testing cycle, and an ability to forward plan and ensure smooth testing across multiple environments
