We are looking for a
Senior Project Manager
to join our Building team based on a highly-acclaimed commercial project in Central London.
The successful candidate will lead day to day design, planning and construction management of significant elements on large scale projects, including procurement, installation, commissioning and handover. This is a key role in which you will drive a collaborative approach with the Trade contractors, Skanska, design team and other key stake holders to ensure the best outcome for the Project.
What you'll do
Ensure that the master programme and schedule of deliverables for the project is developed, meeting the requirements of the brief and the clients expectations.
Oversee all works of the trade contractors, contributing to the selection of key specialists, suppliers, productions.
Develop clear, detailed and practical measures of performance to meet project objectives. Regularly inspect works for compliance with design and report on progress.
Implement a good communications strategy within the project to ensure that all team members are regularly briefed.
Ensure design solutions offered by designers and trade contractors fully comply with the project documentation within the given timeframes.
Be aware of monthly figures, taking proactive action to prevent losses and maximise profitability
Undertake line management responsibilities for direct report staff ensuring each is effectively managed.
What you'll bring to the role:
Demonstrable building sector experience as a Senior Project Manager.
Experience of the successful tendering and delivery of commercial/ mixed use development
Key understanding of programme and the importance of sequence within construction projects.
Demonstrable experience managing and leading a team at delivery phase.
Educated to HNC level / degree level or equivalent essential
Preferable to hold professional qualification (e.g. MCIOB)
