The Opportunity





To manage the Company's resources to achieve a successful outcome, Technically, Commercially, Safely and to the Client's Satisfaction on the project.


What you will be doing




To manage all Engineering Services activities in line with the company IPCD. To ensure the safe and efficient execution of the project in line with company IPCD. To manage all Engineering Services activities in line with the Project Process Document. To manage the resources on the project on a day to day basis and to report any staff issues as appropriate. Manage project commercial issues and cost reporting (WIP). To identify the clients requirements and ensure we deliver these requirements to the clients' satisfaction. Represent the company on any internal or external issues. Prepare detailed plans and procedures to administer the project and ensure the project team are familiar with and follow these guidelines. To manage all project reporting is provided upstream and downstream on a timely manner. Regularly audit the project to ensure compliance. Communicate with the project team regularly on project specific matters and company initiatives. To manage the project cash flow is positive throughout the life of the project. To manage procurement and achieve best value for Engineering Services. Identify all risks and manage actions and implementation to mitigate such risks.

What we will need from you




HVAC and electrical bias project manager Managing a project team to reach completion within budget and to programme. Programme production and management Interpret the requirements of the specification Resolve any technical queries during the contract Managing procurement, labour and sub-contractors. Assisting in managing variation accounts Assisting in preparing monthly applications Construction management and liaising with supervision team Site operations - installation and commissioning Maintaining good working relationships with the client and professional team. Stakeholder engagement and management Controlling contract costs and variations. Value engineering projects to create cost savings. Co-ordinating M&E Services installations All health and safety requirements during the contract including compiling method statements and risk assessments Compilation and presentation of Operating & Maintenance Manuals Contract values ranging from 2m and above Healthcare experience

Skills and Qualifications




Degree: BEng (Hons) Building Services Engineering - preferable BTEC HND Building Services - preferable BTEC: HNC Building Services - essential BTEC: ONC Building Services -essential IOSH directing safely - preferable CSCS card - essential SMSTS course - preferable Computer Skills - MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel.

The Opportunity





With overall responsibility for the management and success of the project, including customer relations, health and safety, quality, environmental, programme and the cost/value of operations.


What you will be doing




Leading regular site meetings with project team; Maintaining strict quality control procedures; Conducting regular site safety checks; Ensuring the project runs to program and to budget; Being proactive in the identification and resolution of problems; Ensuring the project team comply with the Companies Business Management System; Reviewing methods of working, alternative materials etc in order to maximise commercial profitability; Maintaining effective long term relationships with the customer and their representatives/advisors; Providing aftercare services to the customer; Leading the implementation and maintenance of Company strategy and policies for Sustainability, Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, Training & Development etc and acting as an exemplar of the Company culture and values; Monitoring, supporting, mentoring and counselling members of the project team in their personal development; Seeking and developing on going continuous improvement; Weekly review of progress against Target Programme; Ensure that short term programmes prepared and agreed with supply chain; Attendance at monthly CVR meetings; Keeping good records - Diaries, Labour Returns, Weekly/Monthly reports; Any other duties relevant to the role.

What we will need from you




Strong leadership and people management skills; Technical knowledge and experience; Commercial and financial awareness; Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of people; Ability to plan and organise resources in order to meet tight deadlines; Customer/Client focus; NEC Experience required. Experience - Comprehensive site management experience gained over a sustained period; Experience of project planning; Minimum HNC qualified (in relevant construction subject); Professional qualification (desirable); CITB level 3 Safety Course (desirable); CSCS Card - Appropriate level (desirable); IT literate (desirable); Experienced and competent in using Asta Power Project (desirable); High level of leadership and management skills (desirable); Experience in a similar role; Experience in relevant sector e.g. Education, New Build, Refurb, Healthcare, University sector, Commercial etc.
