The Managing Director is planning for retirement, creating a rare opportunity for the right person to step into a long-term leadership position and oversee the day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations across a mixed-use property portfolio
Coordinate and manage contractors, maintenance, repairs and refurbishments
Handle tenant and occupant enquiries, issues, and inspections
Manage compliance schedules: EICR, gas safety, EPC, fire safety, insurance, and lease obligations
Maintain organised digital records and operational documentation
Liaise with solicitors, insurers, surveyors, and external professionals
Support insurance claims and assist in preparing legal or compliance documentation
Provide monthly operational reports and quarterly reviews to the owner
Ensure smooth-running, proactive management of the entire business
What We're Looking For
Strong experience in property management (commercial, residential, mixed-use or block)
Confident managing contractors and operational workflows
Excellent understanding of compliance, safety regulations, and landlord obligations
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Highly organised, reliable, and proactive
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to resolve complex issues and take ownership of outcomes
A genuine interest in long-term stability and growing into expanded responsibility
Desirable:
Experience with insurance claims, legal processes or lease interpretation
Familiarity with project management or refurb oversight
RICS/IRPM qualifications (preferred but not essential)
